part of testing? or unstable?
2.4.19 doesn't show up in woody for me..
Well, while you get that sorted out, if you need the patch, it's
available at http://sparclinux.net/pub/patches/U1-hme-lockup.patch
cool thanks! I'll try it
Hello,
If your arch is Sparc32, it's advised of use a 2.2.x kernel ... Try that

Subject: reiserfs on software raid on sparc/2.4.18 ?
not
Hello
I've been planning to test ipsec on my Ultra 1.
But it seems that the FreeS/WAN kernel patches for 2.4.x won't compile on
sparc64 and 2.5.69 was horribly unstable.
So my question now is if there is any other way of getting ipsec for the
sparc64 platform?
I'm also open for any suggestions
My question is - was this okay? I am not a programmer, just a tinkerer.
The kernel compiled and booted just fine. Did I resolve this issue
correctly, or could this bite me later?
You did the right thing.

I suppose it's hopeless to get software raid running ..
Running an ultra 1(creator 3D, not sure what model), tried both 2.4.18
and 2.4.19(both source tree's from debian's archive),
Has anyone actually got Mozilla Firebird working on SPARC32?
I spent over 24 hours compiling it, now when I run it it messes about
for a while then quits without actually loading or displaying any
messages on the console.
I'm using a SS10 running Debian Unstable.

I'm trying to compile a kernel that will support the OHCI firewire card I
just purchased (to interface with an iPod :)
I can't seem to get a post 2.4.19 kernel to compile, and that's what I need
to support IEEE1394 properly with hotplug. (or so I've garnered from the
documentation)
