pptpd encryption on SPARC

Hello, I am currently using 2.4.24 as my kernel and am trying to get a pptpd server running. It seems to work unencrypted on the stock kernel but that kernel does not have the mppe patch on it. I've tried and failed at building my own kernel. Does anyone have any ideas or a pre-built kernel
