Hi Jurij,
Bugger :-/. What image did you use?
I used the 20050217 build;
from the listing:
sarge-sparc-businesscard.iso 18-Feb-2005 00:45 30.6M
I figured if that one booted, I'd give the netinst cd a shot.
I'm guessing the business card CD is just a boot floppy chucked on a CD?
Anyh

I have tried about 10 different flavors of debian in an attempt
to install my SPARC box. My issue is that none seem to come with
ide-generic, and so the install doesnt find my IDE drive.
Is this a known issue, and what is the suggested resolution?

Hi,
I wondering whether it is possible to boot Debian off of a RAID5 partition.
And if so, is it possible to set up such a system from the installer.
It's a e450 machine with 20 hard drives and it would ideal to run
everything on top RAID (vs having a system disk + data on RAID).
This machine is

I've tested with the following combinations:
- append="video=atyfb:comp_sync:1,[EMAIL PROTECTED]"
