There is an old Sparc 2 here, happily running Woody with Apache

Seems that a simple technique for upgrading to Sarge is to replace
every occurance of woody with sarge in /etc/apt/sources.list

Hello All,
I need to test debian on a Sun Blade 2500 (UltraSparc III) and Sun
Fire 6800 (UltraSparc IV).
FYI, a Sun Fire 6800 is UltraSparc III, not IV. The 6900 is an USIV.

Hi,
after doing a successful installation with the help of the daily netboot
image thru tftp, I can't boot the SUN V210
However install goes fine and SILO installed 2.6.12 but at reboot after
loading the kernel image I get the usual freezing...
I tried to install stable, testing and unstable
I'm in the same boat with a v240. The installer works (booting with boot
net:bootp) but after reboot the freeze. The daily builds are installing,
but not booting after install for me.
