Ok, I keep reading all of the posts about the sparc port being killed off and all I can say is N! I havent had the time to work on the sparc port in years, but I think its time I start again... Sadly, about a year ago, I gave away my sparc2, sparc5, and Ultra5. If anyone has a spare

Hi all. I want to do some tests with Debian Sarge on an Ultra2 and try to make a barbone work again. Added CPU and memory - since this machine has no graphics, I attached a terminal (DEC VT 420) to serial A. How can I send STOP-A from my serial terminal? The machine tries to boot from

Note: No, I'm not going to do this myself as I don't consider myself a Sparc porter. I'm more an interested user and also have a certain interest because of my work on Debian Installer. The page exists at http://wiki.debian.org/sparcEtchReleaseRecertification Someone should fill it in. --

I note that it only lists 89 sites using Debian-SPARC. How do we go about adding our own sites to it? That comes from the popularity-contest package, so you can install that on your sparcs to augment the number. If you want to edit the wiki page and add the stats about your usage in the list
