I've managed to kind of get Testing working on my V240 using the beta
netinst image located here:
After completing a full install I encountered a hang on boot - just
after the infamous 'Switching root ...' message, but there were a couple
of messages below it about ext3.
I booted the netinst CD
I am having an issue with my aha2940uw, it finds my external hdd at id4
assigns it to sda then also assigns it to sg0 with id4 also(i have a scanner
on id6 which is sg1), I was getting parity error s and it wouldn't find the
drive at all until I disabled the Detect Parity in the cards bios (which

I am also waiting on a workaround to get any version of Debian onto the
Sparc (preferably Testing)

Hi,
can you requeue gconf2 and then gnome-vfs2 on sparc please? failed due to gtk
respective gconf being uninstallable.
(That would finally allow me to make OOo on sparc installable again)

I had the same problem on a Sun Netra T1 105 and on a Netra 120. When I
remember right, it couldn't load the module isofs.
After a long search without a solution, I installed Sarge over the
network. Look at this description:
