I'm not currently using it on my Sparc, but Squid
Is anyone successfully using qmail on a 64bit Sun, or more specifically,
a Sun Ultra 10?
I've tried both netqmail and qmailrocks.org. I can't get smtp-auth to
work in netqmail and qmailrocks fills my logfiles with "free(): invalid
pointer 0xe910!" errors. Also doing things like enabling queue-
Hello list,
I've got a server that's dropping some mail, in addition to putting some
strange error messages in the logs (not directly related to the dropped
mail).
Most references I can find to this error message indicate it's caused by
bad ram, so I wanted to test the memory in my Sun Ultra 10,

Will a config booting 3 kernels work? Here's my /etc/silo.conf below.

This may sound crazy, but it's something I've been wondering about, so I
thought I would ask.
I remember reading a while back about a university that built a cluster
of Sony Playstation 2s, but instead of doing the main processing work
with the CPUs, they used the processors on the graphics cards.

Well, I've googled, googled the list archives and searched the Sun
forums to little avail.
Does anyone have any tips for bypassing the nvram firmware password,
short of replacing the nvram module?
I'm learning (the hard way) what I should've looked for before jumping
on a "good" deal. :-)
TIA,

I must admit, I've never used a Sun before. But, I recently acquired an
Ultra 10. Now I'm trying to access it via a serial console program from
an x86, using a null modem cable, so I can start installing Debian on
it.
The Sun appears to have 2 serial ports; one a 25 pin marked A and the
other a 19
