Upgrading to this kernel leaves the blade unbootable, since ql2xxx
module is used instead of qlogicfc to manage the FCAL disks.
The module ql2xxx still does not work for the q logic controller on the
Sun Blade 1000.

Ferris McCormick pointed out that some old kernels have problem with
this module and cpu load.
In my case with this kernel I there is no cpu usage increase.

I have noticed that the problem of the xserver had to do with a bad
configuration of afbinit.

Hello,
I have been trying to install Debian Etch on a Blade 1000 using a
netboot image.
The machine has 2 FCAL disks for storage.
After the instalation the machine loads silo and when the system is
booting it finally stays for ever with a message that says "waiting for
root filesystem".

Hello Lindo,
Some people (Dan Sturtevant and Chris Lalancette) started a port of the driver
around one year ago (if I can remember OK), but since then nothing else has
been seen about this. So it probably only works on Solaris.

Hello list,
Is there any way to speed up graphics with xwindows and the creator UPA
framebuffer. I am using debian sarge with 2.6.8 on an Ultra 30. The graphics

Thanks in advance,

Hello list,
I have problems to make the mouse work on sarge. I cannot find the mouse
device "/dev/sunmouse" on my system. Also I cannot make it work
through /dev/psaux. Which is the correct device? I am using kernel 2.6.8 and
at dmesg I can see the following input devices found:
