Thank you for these images. The tftpboot.img works on my 1000E. I managed to hose it yesterday while testing a 2.2.14 smp kernel. Now I can fix it with out reinstalling from scratch. I'll try it on a E5500 later. Steve

Ok, I got a 2.2.10 kernel to compile and boot but I had to disable SMP. As I have a 1000 with 4 CPUs and a 1000e with 2 cpus, this is a big problem. I'm downloading the ac8 patch right now and I'll see if that helps.

Yeah, I tried changing the MAC address on the second card and even plugged the second port into another hub that isn't connected to anything else. I was playing somemore and discovered that even if I only have the first interface configed Enlightenment still causes it to give me the errors. So I u

Does anyone have a working tftpboot image and required extras (rescue image, drivers,...) for a SparcServer 1000e? The cd image I used dies on boot (right after the ramdrive message.) Has the new cd image been made yet? I was able to boot off the tftpboot-2.2.7.img from Adam Di Carlo but it doesn'
