Hello, Last message... 2.6.24.2 is _not_ stable on HyperSPARC/SMP. It randomly hangs without any message. I shall investigate. On dual SuperSPARC, 2.6.24.2 can hang with ESP DMA error when raid1 is active. Without raid1, I cannot reproduce DMA error. Regards, JKB

Good news, With kernel (2.6.24.2) and libc6 I have uploaded, SS20 boots fine with dual RT626 (double CPU module). At this time, I don't see any strange memory error I have seen with older kernel. I shall try with four RT626 this evening, but it sounds good : hilbert:[~] > cat /proc/

Hi Joël, I've got an SS20 with dual hypersparc. Kernels post 2.6.21 boot okay, run in general, but a 'make -j 3' build of the kernel aborts a couple of times with a bus error or similar vague errors. I'd be interested in a V8 repository. Martin On Sat, Feb 16, 2008 at 10:34:03AM +0100, BERTRAND

JKB, I have a dual processor SS20, and would love to get Debian on it. I'll watch the list for any progress. Thanks, Chris. On 16/02/2008, BERTRAND Joël <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> wrote: > Hi folks, > > I have built a 2.6.24.2 linux kernel on my SS20 (dual SM71) and it is > stable in S
