The fix committed to svn does take care of the missing module problems. However what was forgotten is that d-i initrd image is not rebuilt automatically, so the broken initrd was used in daily builds for the last few days. Today Joshua Kwan has rebuilt it (and it seems to look good), so tomorr

I'll clarify what I can here. Regarding Ubuntu, if you do not compile SILO with GCC 2.95 it will not boot right on SPARCs because later compilers mistakenly generate floating point CPU instructions not available during boot time. That's probably what they did wrong. My kernel config file should g
