problems. However what was forgotten is that d-i initrd image is not
rebuilt automatically, so the broken initrd was used in daily builds
for the last few days. Today Joshua Kwan has rebuilt it (and it seems

Regarding Ubuntu, if you do not compile SILO with GCC 2.95 it will not
boot right on SPARCs because later compilers mistakenly generate
floating point CPU instructions not available during boot time. That's

hit unstable (thanks to Joshua Kwan for doing an excellent job). As of
today, the daily netboot [0] and cd [1] images for sparc, featuring this
kernel, are available as well. These kernel images are supposed to fix few
