Almost for sure it's the serial console thing. Sun hardware tends to drop to the OF if it loses DTR or DSR or carrier or one of those darned serial signals if you are running a serial console. So I'm guessing that you don't keep the serial connection up all the time? Typical is this: you shutdown

As you know, i'm tring to use an old but good SS10. I've used for two month, booting on monday and halting on friday, without one problem. Now i've moved it, plugged to an UPS, installed and configured a dhcp server. Now the machine halt, or better, they go to the 'ok' prom prompt, about 3-4
