According to the bug already raised about this,

it seems that it is not considered a perl problem but an openwebmail
one.
As it breaks the package openwebmail (which I also use) it would seem to
have an importance higher than normal to me.
Since installing the latest perl package (5.8.3) I have been unable to run
suidperl. The error I get is:
suidperl needs fd script
This breaks other packages, such as openwebmail, on my system.
Advice would be appreciated.
