What I wonder is, is there any reason to buy a PCI card (speedwise) if I
go for the NE2000 compatible one?
As for PCI versions - they're worth it, they
speed up transfers accross the network dramatically (that is, if you have
both cards being PCI).

Luis,
Here's an idea:
Create a script that waits 5 or 10 seconds, then runs /etc/init.d/ppp

for its shell. Make sure the script is setuid root. You might want to
make the script logout, too, after it runs pppd. Hopefully,

In my version of GhostScript, the Debian postscript interpreter, there

cover all deskjets, unless HP has made major changes in the 870. However,
I have no personal experience with any deskjets (I use a Laserjet III),

Hi. When I try to install the Debian ghostscript package, dselect
notes that it depends on another package which is not available.
What do I need to do to either get this other package (I don't
recall it's name at the moment) or get an older version of gs which
does not have this dependency?
I have been off this list for a while because of the volume of messages. I
was told that a digest version of the list was being set up. Has this
happened? If so, how do I register for the digest?
