I fixed it by suplying something similar to the following
options "ide0=noautotune"
to my /etc/lilo.conf. Then it was quiet.

In most email clients, you can specify a pop and a smtp server to connect to,
like
pop.server.com
smtp.server.com
can I, armed with exim, specify myself as the sender, and use somthing like
smtp.me.whatever
??

I ran apt-get upgrade and I was surprised to see that it now wants to
downgrade PERL from version 5.005 to 5.004 and lots of other packages that
depend on PERL would be removed. Has anyone else seen this on their
systems?
