hi list
I ssh to remote host, then run a program and put it to background,
then I try to logout, but bash paused and wait until the program
finished. How can I logout immeditaly?

First of all, I´m new to Debian and especially the apt-thing.
I was going to try to enable apache2 with mysql. I already have a
Postgres-DB but now for different reasons, I also wanted MySQL. I did
not enable MySQL during the apache installation the first time. PHP
(4.-something) is/was
In trying to create some new web stuff, apache seems to be complaining about
shishi (which I see from research is the gnu kerberos stuff). Why is it
doing this? I know I could just create the directory, but I want to

I run 4.0 on that same box. It's our VMWare server. I don't think I
had to load any modules or do anything special to get 4.0 on there. If
you have a specific question I should be able to help you on that
server.
