1.66Ghz, 1 gb RAM. I have used Ubuntu in the past and would like to move up
to something more stable and snappy. I will be using my laptop to mostly
output (digital) music to my amp, web browsing, office and running
I've recently made a post about Nautilus copied files from my Olympus
recorder with wrong file timestamps - UTC instead of local time.
Later on I've found the problem was rather in my recorder FAT16 file
system. That is, I was simply hit by "system with UTC=yes in /etc/
default/rcS mounts FAT U
Be sure to take the RAM out and reseat it by putting it back in. While the RAM
is out, You could try hitting the RAM slots with some electronic contact
cleaner too. Not color TV tuner cleaner. Electronic contact cleaner.

That is so strange, I disabled suphp mod for apache and everything is all
good now, is suphp something new? Is it critical to run? When I was
searching around for an answer suphp never came up.
