Hello. I'm using Debian Buster in a VirtualBox VM on my server. I use it from Windows using Remote Desktop. The desktop size is not automatically my FullHD size so I need to go to Display Settings and there from a dropdown list pick a resolution for display. That works but there is not the mos

Opening a terminal emulator in default configuration on localhost, LXTerminal for example, doesn't require authentication. Can telnet work similarly? Ie. "telnet localhost" succeeds without login. Can this be accomplished by configuration of PAM ? Thanks,... Peter E.
