okay, i've been playing around iwth it a bit, and here's what i think ineed to do: make sure the directory is browsed by the network (the X11R6 (?) one, i think). how would i do this? if that doesnt work, any other suggestions? i've installed the x-vgaserver and xsvga... thanks in advance, Alan

okay, i've gotten much further now. i've seelected alll sots of options with dselect, and un xf86config, but now when i run xstart i get; _X11 TransSocketUNIXConnect: Can't connect:errho=2 what do i do to get into xwindows? also, i have booted into dos. running windows provides the blue
