Is the grub in woody the 'gnu grub' or is it 'the grub off which gnu grub is
based'? (Just making sure I'm reading the right online comments/info/docs)
or... another way to look at it... does anyone know a way to pack up a set
of info docs so that it could be read on a windows box? (that way I

Hmm my bios has a place to choose booting from scsi first instead of
ide but even when I choose that there are no boot lineup
(A,Cdrom,C; A,C; and such) choices that have 'scsi' in them... most of the
directions I've seen where the one giving the directions used the 'boot
from scsi' option

ok... got everything copied over to the new big disk on /dev/hde
Next obstacle is there a way to use lilo to boot from /dev/hde when
it's the only hard drive on the system without doing that ide=reverse
line?
I tried just setting the root to /dev/hde1 on a boot
