check the heatsink compound? or should I just throw out the cpu and motherboard,
and buy new ones?
Thanks, Ben

get it to work. I've used this package before on other systems, and it

Hello,
Is it possible to have a different default screen resolution in x for each
user ?
I use kdm, and some of the other users on this computer prefer different
resolutions. It would be great if it automatically changed to the users
preffered setting when they log in.

I have a redhat installation on a different partition which works OK.
Please could someone advise how I might troubleshoot this further?
Thanks, Ben Thompson.
