Qt2 it (obviously) tries to remove all its dependencies -
yet it had no trouble removing it yesterday.
How do I get around that? I was unsuccessful in building KMail anyway,
and I just want to get my system back to the state it was.

You could try X-Smiles, an open source XML/XSL browser written in Java. I
cant vouch for usefulness/functionality however.

Very strange. I am currently at work, ssh'd into my network at home. I
telnetted over to my workstation, and expected to pick up a screen
session. Unfortunately, the machine must have reset at around 5am
(according to uptime). Same Debian/kernel versions.
