I'm shopping for an Apple PowerBook 500MHz 128MB 12GB hard drive.
1- can anyone suggest where to buy it at lowest cost?
2- any suggestions on installing and running debian?

my printer has suddenly stopped working. i have absolutely no idea how or
why..it was working one minute and then it wasn'tmy wife running
95 prints to the same printer, and the same thing has happened there also.
i'm running debian 2.0.34 on a 233mhz intel pentium with 64meg ram

help..on a couple major areas for me. some
of it has too do with permission issues on my machine. i had to
reconfigure x. i can bring it up a root or as tempuser, but not as user
zorro. would like very much to be zorro when i bring up x.
the other is my printer. went thru alot with it and now
got an epson stylus color 400, but have not been able to get it to
print anything at all yet. if anyone has any ideas on what's going on,
i would appreciate some help in fixing this. whatever is sent to the
printer makes it to the queue, then the bytes seem to disappear because
nothing happens a
where can you get staroffice 5???
