Any idea ?
Thanks for your help.

I am trying to make a shell script available for download. The problem
is that when I try to get it Apache returns a 403 and logs "Options
ExecCGI is off in this directory" in error.log. But I am not trying to
execute this script as a CGI, I just want to download it. Permissions
are 644. If I renam

I have been using kernel 2.4.18-bf2 since my first
debian install about 2 years ago. Earlier this
week I upgraded to sarge and all went smoothly.
Now I'm trying something which should apparently
be pretty simple:
$ aptitude install kernel-image-2.6-686
But it fails. I get:

everything I tried, has *anyone* gotten sound to
work on an AOpen XCCube?
I have an EZ65 running Sarge.

Hi all :)
Currently migrating an old debian system (NIS, samba2 and a couple of
other services), to a new machine mainly configured around LDAP, I
needed some sort of access restriction, mainly to deny access to
particular group of users on certain clients
defined for ldap.
Actually, try turning off the nscd (cache daemon for NSS), as it could
mess up all the real time changes you're making to your configuration
files, since by default the cache has a 10 min lifetime before renewal.
Both server and client side, just turn it back on when you're finished
with your ldap system.
Hope that helps.

Right now, I'm stuck with it. If anybody notices some errors in my conf

Thanking you in advance for any help you may bring :-) ,

Right now I got a parse error in /var/lib/dpkg/available..

Hi,
I remember that with the gnome help browser I could read and navigate
all the man pages installed. Now it seems that isn't possible anymore.
Is there a way to enable such a feature? Or is there a different gnome
app to use?
Thanks for the help.
