Still not getting anywhere, the options gid uid umask seem to have no
effect with smbmount and due to the way need to access w2k3 shares. I
have only been able to mount the drive using the command smbmount. I
have not been able to get fstab or `mont -t smbfs` to pass the proper

Has anyone had any luck getting a Microtek ScanMaker 6000 working under
Debian ? I saw Support for the Microtek scanners in the kernel and I
thought it might work. But no luck, and a searching on google has
returned nothing.

I have a local server setup and it thinks its email.foobar.com and its
working great. I use fet
I think for the most part many running debian on the desktop are already
using sarge or sid, and I must say I am run several servers with woody,
I like it just the way it is, thank you very much.
After attending linux world in New York last year I decided to try
several other variants of linux
I actually got sendmail setup to use Auth. But how do I tell it to only
accept mail from an authenticated user. It's now accepting connection
with and without authentication.

always remove the systematic multiprocessing stuff from the kernel when
