Just wondering if there was a repository somewhere where I can get xpm/png
files of /usr/share/pixmaps. I noticed that redhat,debian,etc have some
different collection of xpm/png files and I would like to get a good
collection of them to use in my desktop.:)

Recently I wanted to resize my partition and I was trying to use parted. I
booted in single user, then unmounted my root partition (since that is what I
want to resize) then executed parted. When I wanted to check the filesystem to
resize it, parted told me I had found a bug and should use
man fsck? lol just kidding.. try to use e2fsck if you have it. e2fsck is
much better (in my opinion) in fixing file system problems. the simple
syntax would bee2fsck /dev/hda1
consult the man pages for additional options.
