(Someone was confused by the final "Sun Dec," which was the beginning
of the script datestamp: Sun[day] Dec[ember]... Personally a Sun DEC
system seems kinda scary to contemplate.)
I'm looking for what might be blanking out the screen on several linux
systems. On all three systems, power management in the bios is set to
'always on.' All three systems have dramatically different monitors.
I'm running metrox's Xwindows and have not selected any of the screen
saver/power do
I'd like to create an on-screen button that would send a particular
keystroke to a running program. (Basically, the up & down arrows to
netscape.)
I'm running fvwm2 and feel kinda comfortable with tk.
Any ideas?
