I'm trying to get a disk-less computer to work using ltsp.
I can boot the machine and get a terminal (and if I do some editing in
/etc/X11/xorg.conf - also a graphical login) but I can't login as a
normal user. I can do 'chroot /opt/ltsp/i386/' and create a user (also
root) and then login v

I've a nVidia Corporation NV43GL card and two monitors - 1900x1200 and
1280x1024.
I use xdm and icewm. When I get X up on the 1280x1024 screen I do:
export DISPLAY=:0.1
icewm &
It used to bring up icewm on the 1920x1200 monitor using the full space.
Now it only uses 1280x1024. I get this:

I've set up 'virtual servers' to allow ftp and ssh to a box behind the
router. I've opened for ftp on port 21 - is the port number changed when
entering passive mode?

The sound card is a Audio Excel PNP and I've obtained the info to put in
/etc/isapnp.conf
from win95. There is on thing though - win95 reports that WSS uses IRQ
12 but dmesg says

The other day I posted a message concerning Debian on a Compaq Dual PPro - I
got a reply from Dale Martin to try to find a costum build kernel - none on
ftp.debian.org - but on debian.crosslink.net I found a buzz directory with some
different kernels (special_boot-6.bin is the one we used) -
2) The SymbiosWide-Ultra SCSI is not in the on the supported list of
controllers.
3) The network we haven't even thought to think about..
