Well, It seems as though I got it working. I'm guessing that my problem was with loading snd-ens1370 with modpobe, rather than snd-card-1370, which loads all the drivers. For some reason /etc/init.d/alsa (start) was not loading the drivers properly. Thanks for the responses, Ken

Ok, I keep getting this error from dselect and it is driving me nuts. Here's the error: internal error - no filename at -e line 12, P chunk 13 installation script returned error status 1. Press RETURN to continue. Can anyone tell me what this means? Here's what I am doing: I have a laptop
