I have a scsi tape drive and want to use it to backup. From the
output of dmesg, i know that the tape drive is detected. However, I don't
know the device file name of the drive.
The output of dmesg command :
scsi : 1 host.

I have checked that there is no /dev/st0 or /dev/nst0. Does it
mean the kernel dosen't support tape drive Need me recompile the
kernel ??

I got the Word Perfect 8 and I want to install it into my system.
However, when i run the install problem (Runme), it shows me that it
cannot find the libXpm.4.s0 . I have checked that the libXpm.4.so is in

I have 2 3com network cards (3c509B and 3c905). I plugs the 3c905 first
and install the linux. It can work and can connect to the Internet.
Then , i plugs the 3c509B. However, when the machine boot up. It only can

When i want to mount the cdrom with mount /dev/cdrom /mnt, a error
