will wait the route information.
So, the gw affects my telnet service. when telnet to me, login prompt
will appear after waiting sevel seconds. If I do not set the default
route, telnet will show login promp immediately.
How to solve the problem, except fix the gateway?

Sorry, I am still not very clear about that :(

You can't make in.telnetd act as a DNS server. You should be able to add
the appropriate lines to /etc/hosts to make it work on your LAN.

I am testing 2.4.12, 2.4.12-ac3 and 2.4.13pre3aa1
I experienced several lockups when testing mtest01 -p 200 -w
but I never experience lockups during normal working on KDE2
Can you give more information on your lockups?

When I was using vim on konsole, an accident caused a dirty reboot.
And after the reboot I had a bad .viminfo
Is that fs's fault?

For example, if the patch file patch1 is like
diff -u --recursive --new-file aaa/bbb/main.c bbb/main.c
--- aaa/bbb/main.c Tue Oct 16 17:13:04 2001
+++ bbb/main.c Tue Oct 16 17:55:57 2001
...
and patch2:
diff -u --recursive --new-file bbb/main.c aaa/bbb/main.c
--- bbb/main.c Tue Oct 16
I see.
It seems that patch is smart to find whether aaa/bbb/main.c
or bbb/main.c is need to be patched, isn't it?

I installed KMail, but I can't configure it's filters.
Which package shall I install to enable kmail's filters?

, the three boxes will be active, and now
delete one filter, the three boxes are still active, and I can
make my own rules. I think this is a bug.
If you delete all your filters (more than 1) from bottom to top,
and then press New button to make a new filter, this problem
will occur.

I use random() in my program to generate a random number,
but every time when I restart my program I get the same number.
How can I get different random numbers each time?

Thanks for all replys.
I have known the methords to generate random numbers.
/dev/random is more safe , but time() is safe enough to me.
In fact I only need some different numbers for children's mahts.

no
hardware expert, but I do believe that L1 runs at the processor speed so
434.3 and 4342.6 don't look like a coincidence (though the degree of 10
difference is something that I cannot explain).
It has a progress bar, and it cost 4 hours to go from 89% to 92%.
