kernel 2.2.17 -> 2.2.19

Hi, I have debian potato with kernel 2.2.17. there is a kernel-image-2.2.19 at http://packages.debian.org/ and some mirrors. I have the deb file. Can I simply upgrade my kernel image to 2.2.19 by dpkg program ??. I mean: dpkg -i kernel-image-2.2.19_2.2.19-2.deb ?? Or I can use apt-get install k

scsi 19160, 29160 && 29160N Adaptec cards

Hi, Does somebody know whether I can use the scsi 19160, 29160 && 2960N Adaptec cards in Debian Potato distribution?? Does the kernel 2.2.16 from debian-potato support these adaptec's products? From the official web page of Adaptec I can get know nothing. I need the TSID number to ask a question
