I have recently switched from KDE to Xfce after an unpleasant encounter
with KDE4, and I'm happy I switched: KDE feels like an elephant whereas
Xfce feels like a dragonfly, in look'n'feel and speed: it's lean and
elegant.
I'm intrigued though by a quirk: some icons disappear from toolbars
e partition at the moment. Because the current
parted cannot do it and as far as I know can fdisk not handle GPT.
(this took me a lot of time..)
So the only solution to increase an LVM in a lot of scenarios is to add
a new partition if your array grows.

Why don't you try vim ? It comes out-of-the-box with a plugin that

Mixer settings are Ok because I can play CDs with xmms or cdplay without

using fetchmail which in turn delivers the mails to postfix. Then I
plugged amavisd-new in with clamav and MAIL::SpamAssassin. Works fine,
but perhaps there are simpler setups.

virus, make backups. But this is nothing new, as you do backups anyway ;-)
Another story is of course if you're using Windows apps, like MS Office
via crossover office / wine. Then it wouldn't hurt to check the files
for makro virii.

knows only about 21'000 virii. Did they move their database, or are the
signature geared toward the newest version?

it will be visible after I unmount that partition
from the server. So NFS is only writing to _one_ partition.

We are using Remotely Anywhere (RA) to control Micro$oft servers. RA is

As promised my problem with newest libc6 version...
I've libc6 2.3.1-3 running (again). When I go to a page which has a Java
applet my Mozilla craches... This is the error I'll see in my console:

I found a problem with the unstable libc6 version and Mozilla (I'll send
another e-mail when this has been solved...). Therefor I've downgraded
libdb1-compat and libc6 and Mozilla worked fine again. Now other programs
won't work anymore, I'll get the following message:
