Hi all!
I have a wireless presenter (USB mouse with laser pointer) that isn't
recognized well in linux. It has a trackball in the upper side together
with 4 buttons: left/right mouse click and PgUp/PgDown.
The trackball works fine and (to my surprise) the PgUp/PgDown buttons
also. The
Maybe I don't get the point, but aren't the 'MAIL' and 'MAILCHECK' vars in
bash or 'mail' in tcsh for this?
Ok, if you use them you need to press ENTER to get the notify, but if
you're using the shell it works.

Hi all!
Today, when I was configuring my Debian box to work with my Palm (via
USB interface), my system frozen.
After that, I run fsck, and there where lots of problems with the

Hi all!
I installed debian (stable) at home and at my work. Than I upgraded to -testing.
It seems that everything is ok except that when I use the terminal (text console) the

Subject: Netscape and mime types
Hello all!
Once again I am having trouble with netscape and mime formats.
When I click on a JPEG image, I want it opened in the browser, not with
xv. How can I fix
to remove the types from netscape preferences but it doesn't
work.
How can I have netscape opening text files and images without affecting
other applications?
Thanks!

There is a explanation about the methods of installing Debian. Do you

If you don't have the dos partition, I think drv1440.bin and root.bin are
the disks you need.
