Do you have a good screenshot manipulation tool to recommend?
I meant a simple one, just to the point, not a big monster like gimp.
thanks
KolourPaint or ImageMagick might be good.

the wireless, generally it's ipw2100 or ipw2200 that are recommended. I

I don't know what else to do.

I have used and really liked guardog, but it is not being maintained
and it is throwing warnings about some rules being depricated and
will be ignored in the next release of iptables/netfilter. I'm going
to try other tools myself.

I'm wondering if anyone knows how I can get the same functionality
within lxde using wicd (or using something else).

I use 'blkid' from a term to help manage my file systems,' blkid' has
a man page .
No two devices have the same UUID, hence they all need separate fstab
entries.

How do I make debian offer google-chrome to gnome? I have checked all
the places I know of. Where is sensible browser defined?
These are defined in the directory /etc/alternatives. For help, see
the man page update-alternatives(8).

process to get from there to a compiled Debian package?
I'm sure it's all out there, but a few words from a knowledgeable
participant would be greatly appreciated.
