I have installed debian (via a Knoppix CD), and overwritten a previous Linux
distro. My /home folder exists from the previous distro and I have added
myself as a user. However I cannot seem to be able to access all my old data
on /home.
Has anyone experienced this, and if so, did you
But, if I just use 'cat sig' the output is correct.
If I type 'fortune' in a terminal I receive correct output so I assume fortune
is installed correctly.
I hope I have explained myself here.

Another dummy question I'm afraid. When setting up Debian via a Knoppix HD
Install, I managed to set my local domain named 'box'. Where do I find how to
correct this please ?

I'm forgetting something really simple here. When trying to connect to
https://localhost:1 I am getting the error message 'cannot connect to
loachost (port 1), whereas webmin uses the default port of 1.
