try it with putting the following in your ~/.gtkrc
style "user-font"

you can use simpler font names if you have set up aliases on your system
(i didn't).
further you may want to checkou
etc/fstab with
/dev/scd0 /mnt/plex iso9660 user,ro,noauto 0 0
rebooted my box and everything worked fine, burning works as well as
mounting cd-roms.
