makemap is barfing. I'm getting errors whenever I try it -
whatever map type (hash or dbm) that I try.
Oh, I'm using package 8.11.3+8.12.0.Beta7-5 - the most recent from the
testing tree. (well, at least the one that was most recent as of last night)

The result of a dumb mistake:
I wanted to upgrade a particular package from woody, and in the middle, it
stopped because it didn't have a newer copy of libc6. I decided at that point
that I would forgo the upgrade. However, somehow, part of it got installed
somehow, and now I can't install anyt
rying to start up
PCMCIA services (the slot is empty) so I may have a host of problems to deal
with there.)
