Y solo puedo entrar con otro usuario que no sea root...

la pregunta es que pasa si borro los archivos que estan dentro de

Con lo cual revisando en la pagina de Intel me dice que utilice el
driver que viene en:
e100-2.1.6.tar.gz
lo bajo, lo desempaqueto y descomprimo, me voy a src y hago:
orvux:~/e100-2.1.6/src#make install
Makefile:160: ***Linux kernel source not found. Stop.
y me
paquete?? Para que sirve?? En que podria
dañar mi sistema??

Tienes que buscar el ejecutable se windowsmaker que
por lo general esta en \bin\X11\ o algo parecido y luego le haces:
xinit
archivowinmakerejecutable
pero mejor te recomiendo que edites tu .xinitrc en
tu home y sustituyas con esa linea la que manda a llamar a tu manejador por
defecto.
Comparte la experiencia.
