t-lock-mode
and
M-x turn-off-font-lock-mode
both work fine _after_ the file is loaded, but I'd rather not do that
every time I open a buffer.
All the doc on the web tells you how to turn it on, not off. Arrgh!
Thanks.

it's an apache issue or an xmms issue. I don't think it involves
netjuke since I can reproduce using just an mp3 file in /var/www.
Thanks for any help. Please reply directly as I am not currently on debian-user.

I've just started diving into the SGML tools available under Debian, and
really like e.g. debiandoc-sgml and sgml-tools. Unfortunately, to really
use this for our internal docs here I need support for some sort of
pictures and figures. Where should I go to find/build such a thing?

m isn't your debian time, but the
hardware clock. You have two solutions:
a) don't reboot (my favorite)
b) use the clock (Debian 1.3) or hwclock (Debian 2.0+) command to
set your hardware clock. Be sure to read the man pages.

So, when you press on a line in [x]emacs' PSGML/HTML mode, it
indents that line correctly. But how can I indent all the lines
correctly at once (the equivalent of control-c control-q in cc-mode)?
Thanks.

For some reason xntp is reading an hour early (correct time T-1hr). I'm
in Athens, GA, USA which is EST with daylight savings nonsense. Could
that have some affect? /etc/timezone reads EST. On a related note, where
do I look to understand timezone configuration?

I tried the various option settings - OMITTAG, omit tag transparent,
etc.
No soap.
I also get this message when I C-x html-mode:

What does it all mean?

If no one has any advice, I'll enter a bug report, but I was wondering
if it mightn't be some weird configuration thing I'm missing.

Partner Software,
n xsession. Try taking that export out of
your .bash_profile, restarting your x session, popping up an xterm and
typing `echo $DISPLAY` and see
what it says.
Setting it won't mess it up, it's just not necessary. However, you do
need correct format:
productionone$ echo $DISPLAY
:0.0
catdoc and wordview both work for me - isn't word 7 the one in orifice
95? The both work on a doc I got from Those Who Manage in such a format.
