Hello, I'm writing to you, because I don't know precisely what package is responsible for bug- connman?, iw?,openresolv?
I've just installed Buster with mini.iso. Due to age of my PC and small resources I tried to make my install as slim as possible. So I went with Openbox and decided to use connman and iwd. I've struggled a loth with getting this combo to work. I thought that the issue is with early stage of development of iwd, but it turned out that the situation is the same with wpasupplicant. What was wrong? I was able to connect to only one network- the one, which I used during installation with ethernet connection. I knew that installing gnome-network-manager would probably solve the issue- it wasn't my first attempt with connman, but as I've said- I tried to make my install minimal I figured out that I'm obtaining ip, but not dns name. After some more tries I thought of removing /etc/resolv.conf, hoping that after reboot connman will create this file with correct setup. That happened indeed and solved the issue, but it definitely shouldn't look like that. I hope that my problem wasn't caused by lack of some package- I've tried to install packages from task-lxde-desktop, to not get broken installation. I don't know if this problem affects only Buster or maybe Bullseye too, shortly before the release. Regards, Paweł Starzyński
