I made a file as your said.
Rebooted the laptop
did lsmod
usbserial is not listed so this is not making the
module load
how do i actually make the module load during bootup,
or when the card is inserted?

I am trying
I still cannot watch DVD movies. I can hear the audio
but I get xvideo errors and a blank screen.
I can watch divx movies fine.
Have other people got DVD playback working with Rage
128 based cards ?
I have tried ogle (crashes) and kaffeine(audio only).
Both give the same xvid errors.

I don't bother with that stuff.
One my usernames has a
/home/username/.ssh/authorized_keys which has a public
rsa key in it
then i use the corresponding private key to log in
from another machine (put it in
/home/username/.ssh/id_rsa on a linux box, or
configure a key file in putty for a windows b
