error message "peer holds all free leases".
The pool is about 6 times larger than the total number of machines.
I have no idea what is causing this. I hope someone more knowledgeable
can point me into the right direction.

Each time isdn is started, I get a 'dialmode not in kernel' message (kernel
2.2.10).
I checked the kernel configuration, but could not find an obvious setting for
this.
Anyone got a clue?

I just read about bug #28769; /dev/ippp0 - /dev/ippp6 are created with the
wrong minor device numbers. This is solved in the new makedev_2.3.1-5 in
Incoming. Note that /dev/isdnctrl still needs to be linked to /dev/isdnctrl0
in order for isdnutils to work.
Thanks to Torsten Hilbrich to point out t

I am trying to get ISDN working on my new system. While I had a working
configuration on my old system, I am now stupified by an error while trying to
dial out, i.e. after "isdnctrl dial ippp0", I get
isdn_ppp_bind: Can't find usable ippp device
ippp0: Resource temporarily unavailable

When compiling a file with g++ (egcs-2.90.29), I get different typedefs for
wchar_t, i.e.
X11/Xosdefs.h : typedef long wchar_t
stddef.h : typedef int wchar_t
The source file includes and , which is not unusual.
In X11/Xosdefs.h there is
#ifdef i386
#ifdef SYSV
#if !(defined(ISC) && define
While compiling two C++ files with g++, I get the above error
(consistently on 2 different hamm 2.0.33 pentium boxes).
The same two files compile OK on a Dec alpha DU4.0 with gcc-2.7.2.
Anyone got a clue what this means?
