Music should be too, as

so it looks like my seed threads are repeatedly and immediately dying,
but I can't figure out why. Google and the Debian bug database don't
yield any insights.

I still don't know of a single program that will make a positive
identification of both kinds of CDs, but both file and cdparanoia
provide non-zero exit status upon error, so it should be very simple to
write a small shell script to do it.
