Recently moved our unofficial debian server into a proper lab up
at work. Used to have it set up as DHCP (without any troubles),
but the networking people have given us a range of static IP's
on our own interal subnet, so I'm trying to stick the server on
one of those so we have a little
I've tried to find some good reference documentation on
logrotate.conf files, but couldn't find anything solid. The
links that I've found are attached below [1].
Basically, I have some processes that dump data to
/var/log/something/-MM-dd/* ... these are all reasonably
complicated sub-trees
the download
had an issue, I re-downloaded the iso image and re-burned it. I got the same message.
Any ideas?

Supposedly there was breakage in PAM which is changing
permissions on the /dev/nvidia devices for no good
reason.
