Hallo,

I have a Dawicontrol 2975U SCSI Controller with three devices (CD-ROM,
CD-Writer and Scanner) connected to it. Some time ago I encountered some

I don't think this is possible. I have installed SO 5.2 on 3 different
machines with this switch and it always worked. Did yo download the
all-in-one file? I have the splitted package.

Hi Marco,
as Morten pointed out already, you just have to use the /net switch on
the binary.

Hi Bryan,
Linux is not recognizing your SCSI CD. type dmesg. Is there any
mention of your CD?
Linux is recognizing my CD-ROM. I think the problem is the SCSI-Driver for
my SCSI Controller. Before I upgraded to a new kernel my Controller was
recognized as a NCR53C875 and now the system
to compile only the SCSI driver not as a module.
I've tried that to no avail.
Thanks for the hints.

Hi Ray,
I think you got me wrong. Sure, my CD-ROM is in my computer. But it isn't
an IDE drive (/dev/scd0). The mount point is ok. Before I compiled the new
kernel I used (and I'm still using) kernel 2.0.36. With this kernel my
CD-ROM works fine. Thanks anyway.

Hello all,
I have got a problem. Today I compiled a new kernel. Now I'm not able to

When I try to mount the device (/dev/scd0) the system says:

'insmod driver'?)
