Dual Booting linux thin client or windows

Is it possible to dual boot into either normal windows (booting from the harddrive) or linux which is stored on the network? Ive looked into something called pxe a little, but that looks more like a one way thing. Linux only and it seems you need some sorta special bios for it. I was wondering if

I have used apt-get since installation and am comfortable with that. I will have to familiarise myself with aptitude. What GUI are you referring to? I enter sudo aptitude at a term. So far, after a quick scroll it looks like I'm going to have to work my way through aptitude to figure out how

How do you unmount all your drives
