Two keyboard questions

Hi, I have two questions concerning keyboards: (1) I do like the CAPS LOCK key, but unfortunately it works only on alphabetic keys. How can I force my keyboard under X and on the console to make caps lock work on other keys as well? (2) Often I copy some text by marking it with the mouse.

The only way to run mozilla and artsd or esd seems to be to kill the flash plugin. I did not succeed by calling mozilla by 'artsdsp mozilla'. Well, we still have hope --- and netscape! Stefan

ALSA problems in Debian/unstable

call alsaplayer from within Gnome's menu nothing happens. Starting alsaplayer from the terminal yields AlsaPlayer 0.99.33-pre2 (C) 1999 Andy Lo A Foe <[EMAIL PROTECTED]> and others, see AUTHORS file for details and nothing happens. Does anyone have ideas what is missing? -
