found on ftp.kernel.org without any result.
Is there something that I'm missing? Did I forget to do something?
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks in advance,

(ie a nice connection to the internet) I
suggest that you start using testing, if you're going to use the 2.4.18
kernel.
Hope this helps,

the moment, although I had the same trouble
when I had a freshly installed 2.3 (or is it 2.2?) stable.
I'm running the latest kernel, 2.4.18, just recently compiled with
ipchains support
etc.
Thanks in advance,

you should make sure that the card is not muted.
I'd recommend trying out mp3blaster, just apt-get it and
try to play a file. If it fails, something is wrong with your
setup otherwise it probably is just muted in which case you
can use mp3blasters mixer to unmute it if I remember correctly.
Hope this helps,

I can find some other kernel that can compile successfully.

Mutt deb package
seems
to have problems with IMAP, as far as I've heard. I'll probably try compiling
the latest source instead.
Anyone else got any ideas about what could be wrong?
