Can I simply use dd to clone my failing hard disk (hda) onto another
(hdb) of the same size as follows:
# dd if=/dev/hda of=/dev/hdb bs=512
Or will norton ghost do a better job? Btw, what advantages does ghost
have over dd or vice versa?
If they're identical
the DHCP address via DHCP-Relay from
the DHCP server (remotely).
Is there I way in which I can setup these virtual wifi interfaces and
see the different IP addresses assigned to each virtual interface?

Hi All,
I installed airodump and have a Cisco Aironet C350 wireless card.
When I run the command:
airodump wifi0 test.pcap
I get an error: "read: Network is down"
I am currently connected to the AP and browsing the internet, so the
network is not down.
What am I missing ?

Hi Seneca,
I pretty much went through your systematic approach. I got stuck at

Hi,
I tried doing a apt-get install tftp and tftpd. I am unable to save a
file with the following command on a cisco router: copy running-config
tftp and then specify my ip address and file.
The only tftpboot directory is /var/lib/tftpboot. I created a
/tftpboot as mentioned in the /etc/inetd.con
Hi All,
I am currently trying to get airodump to work with my Orinoco Gold
wireless card.
I need to patch my driver to get 'Monitor' mode enabled on it.
I have been reading some docs and am still missing a few points, maybe
because I haven't done it before, no excuse though :-)

Hi All,
Once again, slightly off the topic. I will stop I promise!!! :-). I
got a D505 Laptop from work a few weeks ago, and did some research on
getting the Intel 2200GB wireless to work. I tried some things
mentioned on sourceforge.net I think, but was unsuccessful.
I borrowed a Airlancer MC-11

Hi All,
The problem was, I was busy doing an upgrade and CTRL-C'd the
operation. This lead to my dhcp not working. I fixed up dhcp and is
working fine now.
thanks

Hi all,
I recently bought myself a new shuttle pc SB75G2. I am having trouble
trying to find a driver for this network card: Broadcom 5788
10/100/1000 Gigabit Ethernet. The kernel seems to pic it up as an
Intel card.
I have'nt used Debian in a few months and am a bit rusted.
